Yuechan Hu is an experienced accountant who has worked in both private industry and public accounting. She started her career in 2009 as a staff accountant at a tri-state accounting firm that specialized in a variety of taxation issuesand was quickly promoted to the Tax Manager position. In that role, Yuechan was oversaw the firm’s entire tax department, which included a highly proactive approach to maintaining client relationships.

She practices in the areas of federal, state and local income taxation, with particular emphasis on tax planning and compliance for high net-worth individuals, closely-held businesses—especially family-held corporations—and fiduciaries.

In addition to individual and business taxation, Yuechan specializes in QuickBooks setup and use, as well as helping small businesses design and implement cost and time-effective accounting systems.

She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Baruch College of the City University of New York. Yuechan is a New York State-licensed Certified Public Accountant. She has fluency—speaking and writing—in Mandarin Chinese.
